Why a first free consultation?

At our first meeting, we will discuss and assess your ongoing difficulties in order to feel confident we can become “the team”.

We will even make recommendations or provide needed advice before you decide to schedule your next meeting. You are in charge of your next step.

So often we are asked how coaching differs from therapy or consulting?

Therapy is often beneficial in helping you recognize and then working through issues that negatively impact your life.

Consulting is mostly information and expertise based. For example, if you hire a consultant to help your business with a specific problem, you would expect them to have knowledge and experience in that particular area.

Life coaches, on the other hand, may or may not have a background or experience in particular fields. A coach is a life specialist, an expert on helping you develop all areas of your life.

Unlike many consultants who propose a solution and leave you to implement it, the coach stays with you to help you integrate the changes, new skills, and goals making sure they really happen. This is one reason why life coaching is so effective. It is one thing to have the information and quite another to actually make the change!

With over forty years of business and coaching experience, I feel very confident we together will make the changes you seek and deserve.
